Gold Refiner | Location: Dubai (3–6 months) → West Africa (Permanent Placement) | Industry: Precious Metals / Refinery Operations | Job Summary | We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gold Refiner to join our refinery operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in chemical processing and precious metal refining, with a strong understanding of working safely with hazardous substances such as nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. | This role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in the refining process. The selected candidate must be willing to relocate to West Africa. | Key Responsibilities | • Carry out chemical refining processes for precious metals using nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. | • Ensure all refined metals meet quality and industry compliance standards. | • Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. | • Maintain accurate documentation of refining activities, material balances, and waste management. | • Operate, monitor, and maintain refining equipment to ensure consistent performance and output. | • Coordinate with quality control teams to verify product integrity and consistency. | • Manage and track raw materials, chemical consumption, and production output. | • Uphold and enforce strict refinery safety protocols and best practices. | • Prior experience in gold or precious metal refining is a strong advantage. | Qualifications | • Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. | • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar refinery or industrial chemical processing role. | • Proven ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals. | • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. | • Familiarity with refinery tools, laboratory instruments, and industrial processing equipment. | • Willingness to relocate to West Africa for full-time employment. | Benefits | • Employment visa provided. | • Comprehensive health insurance coverage. | • Annual return air ticket to home country. | • Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives and bonuses.
