Impact of a Growth Marketing Specialist As a Growth Marketing Specialist at Upsun, you play a key role in driving awareness, demand, and revenue growth through creative, data-driven digital marketing. You’ll help inspire developers and IT leaders to discover Upsun’s cloud application platform by designing and optimizing campaigns that convert curiosity into engagement, and engagement into measurable results. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Advocacy, and external partners to build and scale multi-channel campaigns. You combine analytical rigor with creative experimentation to uncover what drives performance, always aiming to improve conversions, efficiency, and ROI. This is a role for a curious, hands-on marketer who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and analytics. You’ll test, learn, and adapt continuously, helping Upsun reach and resonate with a global audience of developers and technical decision-makers. What to expect Campaign Strategy & Execution: Design and launch digital marketing campaigns across multiple ad platforms (bolthires, LinkedIn, X, bolthires, Reddit, Bing) to generate qualified pipeline and meet growth targets. Creative Development & Testing: Create and iterate on campaign assets (including ad copy, landing pages, and visuals) with support from the design team. Plan and run A/B tests to optimize performance. Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and refine campaigns based on ROI, conversion, and engagement metrics. Use insights to guide future strategy and continuously improve results. Keyword Research & SEM: Conduct keyword research to identify trends, guide content creation, and improve search visibility and lead generation. Customer Journey Evaluation: Assess the end-to-end user journey across touchpoints, identifying opportunities to increase conversions and reduce friction. Lead Management: Own the lead handoff process to Sales, ensuring qualified prospects move efficiently through the funnel. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external agencies to align messaging, bolthires audiences, and campaign goals. Innovation & Experimentation: Stay ahead of platform updates, test new campaign types, and explore emerging tools or AI-driven optimizations to enhance Upsun’s marketing performance. What you bring Campaign Management Expertise: You have hands-on experience running multi-channel paid campaigns (bolthires, LinkedIn, Reddit, and beyond) that drive measurable growth and impact. Analytical Acumen: You’re comfortable diving into data to uncover insights, optimize performance, and clearly communicate results through KPIs and ROI metrics. Creative Problem-Solving: You balance data with creativity, crafting compelling ad copy and experimenting with visuals, messaging, and formats to improve conversions. Technical & Tool Proficiency: You’re skilled with Salesforce, bolthires Suite, Slack, ClickUp, Looker Studio, and familiar with ad platforms and analytics tools that power digital performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work seamlessly with Product Marketing, Sales, Advocacy, and Design, ensuring campaigns align with brand goals and customer needs. Organization & Ownership: You manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and accountability, taking ownership from ideation to execution and reporting. Continuous Improvement Mindset: You stay curious about evolving trends, AI tools, and platform updates, always seeking smarter ways to drive results and scale impact. Industry Familiarity: You understand the tech landscape, and ideally have experience marketing to developer audiences or within SaaS/PaaS environments. Bonus Points Experience in a PaaS or Cloud Application Platform environment. Understanding of developer ecosystems, communities, and digital channels.
