THE JOB

You will support the regional Settlement Manager with all settlement related duties from preliminary reports to day-of-show settlements to post-show adjustments. Responsibilities include leading settlements for your assigned shows, including stadium shows, as well as assisting the Settlement Manager with administrative tasks. This is a hybrid and interdisciplinary role that requires excellent communication and organization, keen attention to detail, and an adaptable and proactive workstyle among a bustling schedule of shows across the region.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Conduct and execute show settlements for a high volume of shows (clubs, theaters, amphitheaters, & arenas) including advance preliminary reports, day-of-show settlements, and potential post-night-of-show adjustments
  • Communicate regularly and efficiently with Booking teams, Production Managers, Ticketing Managers, Accountants, Marketing, and other internal parties
  • Liaise between the local office and Live Nation Touring Representatives and Artist Representatives
  • Review artist and building contracts, deal sheets, and settlement instructions
  • Compile show expenses from Production Managers, vendors, building representatives, Marketing teams, and any co-promoters
  • Settle venue expenses with third-party buildings and coordinate settlements with any co-promoters
  • Collaborate with Controllers to close out each show in the accounting system
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and organized records for all shows and other work
  • Perform compliance in cash handling and payments due to artists and vendors
  • Lead and assist stadium show settlements
  • Support the Settlement Manager with various related projects as needed
  • Regional travel as necessary

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of contract review
  • Strong Excel skills (in addition to other Office software, and Adobe)
  • Must be able to read and interpret ticket audits
  • Solid communication and negotiations skills
  • Excellent organization and keen attention to detail
  • Proactive and positive approach to challenges
  • Professional demeanor and ability to act with discretion
  • Ability to interpret the needs of the artist and tours as they relate to show financials
  • Adaptable with work hours, supporting weekends and holidays as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
