URGENT Requirement:To be responsible for the mechanical repair (Specifically hydraulics and pneumatics) of the mobile plant (Quarry and industries) to ensure machineries downtime are brought to minimum as possible without compromising our safety and technical standards. Prepare preventative maintenance plans to improve and maintain equipment availability and reliability.Key Dimensions (size, budgets, etc.)Hard rock quarry incorporating crushing and screening plant / Asphalt Laying Contracting business /Asphalt Producing PlantsSHE Performance: LTIs, NLTIs, Near Hits, Task AuditsSite Improvement Plans, Targets and delivery; adoption of Operational Quick Wins/SOPs/Best PracticeQuality Control: meeting customers’ needs – deliveries on time; rework in workshop on mobile plant for contracting; workshop performance; product compliance Key Interfaces and Relationships Quarry Manager, Operations Manager Industries, Production Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Quarry supervisor, Quarry production team, Maintenance coordinators, Procurement officer, Storeman, Asphalt Plant & Workshop Managers, Workshop Chargehands, Mobile plant operators, SHEQ Officials, Production Mangers, Contracting team, Contractors on site.Decision Making Responsibilities•Comply with our safety golden rules as well as any other safety instructions and procedures issued by the Management. •Report any defect in the Machineries to the Maintenance Supervisor/ Manager-In-Charge before taking any action that can affect the normal operation of the plant.•Providing repair solutions and suggestions for faults related to hydraulics and pneumatics system in machineries.•Suggest plans to improve and maintain equipment availability and reliability. •Act immediately upon any occurrence that threatens the safety of yourself or other people and report to management as soon as possible.•To stop any unsafe acts in surrounding environment. •To report any unsafe conditions in siteOperational Responsibilities•To ensure the daily job responsibilities are carried out within all Colas Middle East policies and procedures.•Carry out a health check of machineries on periodic basis (hydraulic and pneumatic systems)•Prepare inspection report suggesting repairs required along with list of spare parts and submit to maintenance supervisor. Highlight Immediately required repairs.•Planning of repairs/ reconditioning of machinery hydraulic and pneumatic systems along with Maintenance Supervisor, BU manager and operations representative.•To carry out troubleshooting of defects related to hydraulics and pneumatics and suggest repairs.•To provide overall supervision of the repairs taking place.•To facilitate workshop team to carry out inhouse repair and overhaul of hydraulic components like pumps, motors, control valves, cylinders etc.•Keep accurate machine maintenance / repair records in liaison with Maintenance Coordinators. •To work as a team in coordination with all the Supervisor’s, foreman’s and teammates•Apply your skills and knowledge to improve and maintain Equipment Availability and Reliability. •To provide suggestions and recommendations on spare inventory based on inspections, Machinery age and foreseeable maintenance requirements.•To provide suggestions and recommendations on hydraulic hoses inventory. Experience/Achievements• STONE CRUSSING QUARRY AND CRUSHER HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT TROUBLE SHOUTING EXPERIENCE.•7 years’ experience in similar environment / role•Dubai Experience is a MUSTKnow-How•In depth knowledge of heavy machinery hydraulic and pneumatic systems.•Heavy machinery hydraulic and pneumatic system fault finding skills.•Ability to read and interpret Hydraulic and pneumatic drawings of machineries•Ability to read and interpret service and Maintenance manuals of machineries•On hands experience in heavy machinery hydraulic and pneumatic systems.•Knowledge in component level repairs and overhauls (pumps, motors, control valves, actuators etc.)•Able to work at different locations (Workshops- Shawkah, Jebal ali and Mafraq.
