SALARY: AED 5,000 MAXIMUM

Job Purpose:

The job purpose is to design develop, and oversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in building projects. The role involves coordination between various disciplines, preparing drawings & designs, managing project budgets, and ensuring the successful integration of MEP systems into building designs.

Design and Planning:

- Develop comprehensive designs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, fire protection, and water supply systems.

- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for MEP systems.

- Perform load calculations and sizing for HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.

Project Management:

- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other design professionals to integrate MEP systems into overall building designs.

- Develop and manage project schedules for MEP system installations to ensure timely completion.

- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that MEP systems are installed within budget constraints.

Installation and Oversight:

- Oversee the installation of MEP systems, ensuring they meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving issues related to MEP installations.

Quality Assurance:

- Conduct testing and inspections of MEP systems to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards.

- Verify that all MEP installations comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for MEP systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Design Accuracy:

- Number of design errors or revisions required during the project lifecycle.

- Percentage of designs that meet all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Project Management:

- Percentage of projects or milestones completed on or before the scheduled deadline.

- Percentage of projects completed within the allocated budget.

Quality Assurance:

- Number of defects or issues reported in MEP systems post-installation.

- Percentage of MEP systems that pass inspections on the first attempt.

Efficiency:

- Average time taken from design to installation and handover.

- Efficiency in utilizing resources such as materials, equipment, and manpower.

Problem Solving:

- Average time taken to diagnose and resolve issues or malfunctions in MEP systems.

- Effectiveness in identifying and addressing system problems quickly and accurately.

Safety and Compliance:
