<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>We are currently seeking to employ experienced <strong>Teachers of English for Jumeirah College, Dubai. </strong>This appointment is for September 2025 start.<br><br><strong>The school<br><br></strong>Jumeirah College is a GEMS Premium Secondary School which delivers the National Curriculum for England, offering the full range of GCSE and A level courses. English is the most popular subject at A Level in our College; with 18 groups across the entire A Level cohort, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach English to an advanced level. Behaviour in the College is ‘outstanding’ and the positive relationships between student and teacher, alongside the highly motivated students means that teachers can focus on teaching their subject.<br><br></strong><strong>The successful candidate will work in an exceptional department. In 2024 the results were outstanding. In GCSE English Language/Literature over 98% of students achieved grades 9-4. At A Level English Language – 67% achieved A* - B out of which 11% were A*/A. English Literature – 85% achieved A* - B out of which 38% were A*/A.<br><br></strong><strong>The opportunities which English present for students is central to the philosophy of the school.
