Roles & Responsibilities of a Visual Merchandiser

1. Visual Display Planning & Execution

Create attractive, eye-catching visual displays in stores to enhance customer engagement and sales.

Install window displays, mannequins, product arrangements, and signage as per brand standards.

Prepare seasonal, promotional, and thematic displays in alignment with marketing plans.

2. Store Layout & Space Management

Plan store layouts to ensure smooth customer flow and optimal product visibility.

Utilize POS materials efficiently to maximize visual impact.

Ensure effective use of lighting, colors, and focal points to highlight key products.

3. Brand Identity & Guidelines

Maintain consistency with the brand’s visual identity across all stores.

Follow display guidelines and ensure all merchandising elements reflect the brand positioning.

Update visual standards documentation and share with store teams.

4. Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with marketing, operations, and store managers for campaign rollouts.

Communicate visual merchandising plans and ensure proper execution at store level.

Provide training and guidance to store teams on display maintenance.

5. Product Presentation & Stock Monitoring

Ensure products are presented neatly, with correct signage and pricing.

Monitor stock levels for visual displays and coordinate replenishment.
