About the position

The Financial Systems RPA Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing and streamlining centralized accounting functions at Macy's by leveraging technology. This position focuses on utilizing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other software solutions to eliminate manual processes, thereby improving operational efficiency. The analyst will design, develop, and maintain automated procedures using Microsoft Power Automate, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver tailored automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement RPA workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Automate processes across Windows, browser-based, and terminal-based applications.
  • Analyze business processes to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Deploy and manage automation solutions across various environments.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for both new and existing automated processes.
  • Ensure all automation solutions comply with audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Document automation workflows and associated processes thoroughly.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability of automation solutions.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant corporate experience in RPA/Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of the Windows desktop environment.
  • Real-world experience in creating, implementing, and supporting RPA Bots and automation procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Visual Basic Applications (VBA), Google Cloud Platform, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, and other technologies like ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell.
